Chemical Production Equipment List

Pressure Chemical Company's Pittsburgh facility features a broad range of process capabilities. In addition to high-pressure (250 - 10,000 psig) reactors ranging in size from 300-ml to 4,000-L, Pressure Chemical Company also has significant glass-lined reactor capacity (trains from 20 to 4,000-L), a fully equipped pilot facility, high rectification distillation, continuous-flow fixed bed reactors, and specialized equipment for polymer manufacturing. The range of chemistries available at Pressure Chemical Company is among the most extensive of any custom manufacturer, including polymerization reactions involving ‘hot’ monomers, high-pressure reactions involving flammable gaseous reagents, and reactions in supercritical media.

With over four decades of fine chemical experience, Pressure Chemical Company can safely perform virtually any chemistry and can handle highly hazardous materials, such as corrosive acid chlorides, inhalation hazards, reactive hydrides, and carcinogens.

Polymer Dream MachinePolymerization

Our 200-gal polymer-manufacturing unit is complete with monomer purification feed systems. Designed to handle both liquid and gaseous monomers, this unit can produce copolymers of very narrow molecular weight distribution. The system’s inherent flexibility allows for rapid change in the number and type of monomers. Call us to discuss your specialty polymer development or manufacturing needs.
